Stamford Advocate video on the CMAA Extraordinary Form workshop for priests

The Stamford Advocate features a report by Devon Lash on the recently concluded Sung Extraordinary Form Workshop for Priests and Seminarians, sponsored by the Church Music Association of America.

Accompanying the written report is a video segment by Chris Preovolos featuring interview responses by Fr. Scott Haynes, SJC, and Fr. Thomas Kocik, author of The Reform of the Reform? A Liturgical Debate: Reform or Return.  Also featured in the video is an excerpt from the Gloria from Mass I “Lux et Órigo”, where David J. Hughes, organist and choirmaster at St. Mary’s in Norwalk, chants the with the four-man schola under the direction of Scott Turkington, organist and choirmaster of the host parish, St. John the Evangelist, Stamford.
