“The Liturgical Music Quiz”

The Catholic Way, a website new to me, offers this quiz written by Bill Dobbs on the history of liturgical music (with particular emphasis on the Roman Catholic Church), in a “find your fate” format. While those well-versed in the history of liturgical music should find this quiz a cinch (I found it very easy), it will prove entertaining and informative for the newcomer to liturgical music history.

Note that it doesn’t discuss “hot button” issues like music selection and the latest interpretations and misinterpretations of the General Instruction of the Roman Missal.

I took the quiz… yes, pretty easy but lots of fun. There seems to be a problem with the answer to #36 though, or at least it seems that the parenthesis send you to the wrong response, as though they should be switched around.
