An interview with Dan Schutte

Grapevine has posted their interview with the former St. Louis Jesuit and University of San Francisco’s current composer-in-residence. I have not read the interview but from now on, any mention of a St. Louis Jesuit will  remind me of Fr. Frank Phillips’ CMAA Colloquium lecture (mp3):

At the time I was at the university [as a music major], I was a student with the St. Louis Jesuits - we were in classes together. One time they asked my advice and they never asked for it again.
