On the Wednesday, Nov. 28 edition of Soundcheck, host John Schaefer interviewed Damian Thompson about the recent actions of Pope Benedict to increase the use of Gregorian chant and other sacred music within their proper context of worship. (Mr. Thompson, as many readers are probably aware, recently gained some notoriety for his frank diatribes against reform-folk contemporary liturgical music.)
