I note that the parishes you attend almost, but not invariably, end with a Marian anthem, even on a feast or at a time of the year that has no obvious Marian connection.

It surprises me.

Could someone talk a little about this?

I wish to add I am not objecting in any way to the practice.

Hello,

This may be a bit off - track, but Archivum Liturgicum Sacrosanctae Romanae Eclesiae is back at this site:

My immediate family will be heading to Long Island next weekend for a family reunion, and I would love to experience a mass such as the one you outlined above. Does St Matthew’s do this every Sunday? Is it always at the 9:00 am Mass? The website doesn’t show a 9:00 mass - it shows 8:00 and 9:45…

Yes, Keith, always in the chapel not the church, at 9AM.
