Juventutem Youth Choir Fund Drive
Please support the Juventutem Youth Choir Fund Drive.
Since July 2002 I have hosted this site as a resource and source of enjoyment and discussion for all who love authentic sacred music and seek to re-establish its proper place in the Roman Catholic liturgy. Many of you have become regular visitors and commentators, and together we have created a bond through our interest in and love for the music of the Church.
I now have a favor to ask of you all.
Three young adults and I seek your help to attend Juventutem and World Youth Day 2005 this August 10-21 in Bavaria and Cologne, Germany. Juventutem is the name of the traditional Catholic contingent to WYD 2005. One of their projects is the ‘Juventutem Pilgrim Choir’—which is described in this link:

It is the chance of a lifetime for us to take part in a choir that will present sacred music within its proper context to the whole Church at a crucial time with a new Pope, when perhaps, if it be God’s will, the tide can turn towards authentic liturgy and genuine worship of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist.
If you have enjoyed this site and appreciated the ability to visit it and interact here, and you think our trip is a worthy cause, please consider using the donation link below* to contribute to our trip. All we can offer you in return are: our prayers of thanksgiving for all our benefactors; the offer to bring whatever you would like blessed to the Papal Mass on August 17 in Cologne; and a photojournal on this site. No amount is too small!
If you cannot donate, kindly spread the word over the Internet by placing a link to this page on your own website. Copy the HTML code below and place it on your homepage.
Here is what the link will look like. It is fully operational, so clicking on the “Make a Donation” button will take you to a secure donation page.
We hope to attain a final goal of $6,000 by no later than June 1, 2005. This will cover Juventutem registration and most of the airfare for four young adults. Any additional funds will be forwarded to Juventutem to assist others’ efforts to attend this event.
May God bless you richly for your generosity and support.
*As of 05/02/2005 eBay/PayPal has prohibited sale of the Blessed Sacrament on its site. Still, if you do not wish to donate online, please contact me personally at homepage · at · cantemusdomino · dot · net.
