  1. Nice to see that you’ve updated your style of music-reporting. Very informative.

Any time you’re in Ontario, please stop by one of the Masses I play at.

Or just stop by my blog anytime. :) The same goes to your wonderful readers.

  2. Wonderful? says:

    You’re makin’ me blush, M. Meloch….

We’ve missed Bal du Neige, though, haven’t we? (Or am I thinking of the worng Canadian city?)

  3. Either I’m really sheltered and have never heard of such a thing, or you have the wrong city…

  4. Losing my mind... says:

Losing my mind, or perhaps just my memory.
This was about 10 years ago (when you were a child,) and I was touring Canada in FEBRUARY (what genius impresario dreamed that up?)

Five cities, and I thought Ontariio was the one with the outdoor winter festival going on — skating on a frozen over canal or river running through the heart of the city?

And I remember starting out in Vancouver (which seemed pretty much like any US city,) and then what we uncharitably called “Lose -ipeg” (only becasue it was SOOOOO cold, and the sidewalks were like dark tunnels the snow was piled up so high — after that it kind of blurs.

    My mistake!

Loved Canada though — and again, this was 10 years ago, but went to some wonderful, prayerful, gorgeous Masses, in Engish and French (don’t think I encountered any Latin — another one of my mistakes!)

  5. Ontario is a province, not a city… It is the size of several states combined. There are dozens of huge cities in it, any of which might have held your festival.

  6. Oooooops says:

Oooooops, don’t I feel like the typical, geographically illiterate Yank.
I meant Ottawa, of course. (I think Windsor was also a stop on the tour.)

Some how, I had gotten it in my mind that you were in the capital. So whereabouts in Ontario are you?
