I’m curious, what recourse does a priest in his position have?

Obviously none at that parish, his bishop owns the parish for all intents and purposes, but can a priest “resign” from a diocese, and be granted faculties (is that the right word?) in some other diocese by a more sympathetic bishop?

I’d love to worship at masses celebrated by this man.

I love my preist, but he is so intent on teaching children (our fine school is what keeps the parish afloat,) and communicating with them is so much a part of his liturgical style, (he celebrates WONDERFUL school masses,) that he is constantly interupting himself in the liturgy to explain and comment on what is going on.

I find it distracting, and, I don’t know, sort of chatty, just the wrong tone and mood for mass.
