You are offering up much suffering. Actually it isint bad considering its typically much worse.

At mass at my parish today, they had some chant in Latin during communion, also the Sanctus and Angus Dei in Latin, the Entrance, Offertory and Recessional were all Anglican high church. If you are in Columbus Ohio some time, stop by St Patricks in the downtown area.

I find that Haas “Mass of Light” is a little high for the congregation.

“I find that Haas “Mass of Light” is a little high for the congregation.”

I agree. I think he writes for himself, for his own voice.

And it’s kind of insipid. (No offense to anyone who likes it, but his tunes never exactly sound inspired, you know? I just never think they are worth the time it took to learn them. There’s easier stuff, and there’s better stuff, but most importantly, there’s easier AND better stuff.)
