Lest I be accused of “homophobia”, I ask: Where are the stories of unrepentant, unmarried, cohabiting heterosexual church music directors being dismissed from their posts?

<sarcasm>Oh wait, that’s right—such stories aren’t newsworthy.</sarcasm>

I had exactly the same thought when I read that article. Since people did not hold the line on fornication and divorce we have come down to argue about this subject now.

And have we ever seen a story about an EEM that was dismissed after finding out they were acting contrary to the Christian life?


The unrepentant, unmarried organist at a Catholic church I attend was quietly told her services were not longer needed when it was discovered she was cohabitating with a man. It does happen.
