Wow, that is exactly the kind of “music” that sends me totally inward, in an effort to shut out the glop.
You have my sympathies. (We had Church’s One Foundation and Blessed Jesus at Thy Word! — now if they will just can the Mass of Creation we’ll be getting somewhere.)
I drove 15+ miles to get away from this awful music when I was in Sacramento, and where I am in Ohio now, I drive a few miles past several parish to get away from this tripe. Anyways AAE, if you are in Columbus Ohio, stop by St Patrick’s for any of their Sunday masses, the Collegeville hymnal is a delight compared to anything OCP and GIA has to offer.
You closed with Haugen…how regrettable.
