Vatican liturgical document: much ado about nothing?

Reports around the ‘net abound regarding the Vatican’s pending document on liturgical discipline. Originally slated to officially debut in October, it instead was leaked to the press and apparently a draft will be published in the Italian periodical Jesus. Meanwhile, the story has been picked up, with varying degrees of accuracy, by the Arab Times, Associated Press, Catholic News Service, Reuters and The Guardian.

Mr. Appleby gives us a detailed summary of the developments (with relevant links), while from his refugee camp, Mr. Price, in two parts, wonders why any of this is news, though not despairingly so.

Keep praying. Here might be a good start.

All we’ve seen so far is a faux leak by ultraliberals that altar girls are verboten.

After that firestorm …I say, oh oh…here comes liturgical dance by barefoot nuns
