Antigua Capilla Hispana

Antigua Capilla Hispana is a vocal ensemble dedicated to the study and interpretation of the Gregorian repertoire and other repertoires, such as the ancient Hispanic or Mozarabic chant, as well as medieval and Spanish Renaissance polyphony.

The site is written in Spanish and contains a number of FM-quality mp3 files, including the simple Mozarabic chant Gustate et videte (Ps. 33(34)). This chant can be found (in slightly simplified form and with all psalm verses) on p. 454 of the Graduale Simplex and p. 645 of By Flowing Waters. Fr. Keyes has used this setting at Communion and, if I remember correctly, has found it to be effective and singable.

All in all, a wonderful sampling of the early to Renaissance-era Ibero-Christian musical heritage.
