Unmercenary Sacred Music

This site is dedicated to providing free congregational liturgical music for Orthodox and Catholic communities… Everything here is distributed freely. For that reason, it is an Unmercenary site, which operates under the patronage of the unmercenary physicians, Saints Cosmas and Damian.

Unmercenary.com is owned, maintained, and offered by Sloan Rolando, “an Orthodox Christian living in God’s Country, that is, the Midwest”. It looks like he knows his stuff well, and it’s great stuff.

Wow…this is going to be a great resource for me, then. I’m a Catholic school teacher in the Archdiocese of Boston, and organize several Masses a year for the kids, all with a full complement of liturgical music. As a child, I loved the guitar masses our parish (west of Boston) had on Saturday afternoons, and have looked in vain for years for some of those songs. But I love the Glory and Praise music and traditional hymns as well. Thank you for making so much available…
