From the Golden Age

What is truth? Here’s a sung answer, circa 1968.

Truth
Lyrics: Roger Ortmayer
Music: Ed Summerlin

Truth is like a river Flowing full of life.
And truth is like a bright bulb, glowing full of light.

Truth is like a pine tree Showing green all year.
And truth is like a brisk wind blowing clean the air.

Truth is a computer Showing probability
And the truth shall make you free.

I guess Pontius Pilate has come back as a hymn writer.

For my part, I’m not sure which is more (unintentionally) humorous - the third verse or the copyright notice.
