The Recovering Choir Director

Okay, I’ve finally caved in and added my journal to the thousands of others out there. I have plenty to talk about, to be sure—the few people who have sat down and conversed with me will attest to it—but in this journal, I will attempt to limit myself (hopefully) to the following topics:

1. The state of Catholic music at the campus ministry where I work.
2. The wonderfully rich heritage of Catholic music.
3. Facts about the application of Catholic music that may not necessarily be common knowledge.
4. How to improve in my role as director of music for our campus parish.

Other various and sundry tidbits I believe are noteworthy will creep in, I’m sure. They may not even be about music, or the Catholic Church. But digression is almost second nature for me. Hopefully, my digressions will serve as entertaining and informative.
